We are The Fair, are an award-winning festival and event production agency. We deliver festivals and events to over 1 million people per year. From full production & event management at Eastern Electrics, to operations management at Gotwood and health and safety consulting for Houghton Festival. My role as Production Director includes: • Head of production for The Fair and leading the festival team • Line management and project allocation for all festival managers and coordinators • Account lead on all festival projects with The Fair • Forecasting for company projects annually• New Business Development• Resourcing for multiple festivals, both internal staff and freelancers • Full operational and logistical responsibility for events and festivals; scheduling, programming, specs and infrastructure management, safety management plans• Supplier procurement and auditing• Technical production management, artist advancing and stage programming• Budget management – circa. £1mil• Site design (Auto CAD)• Crowd dynamic monitoring and management • Invoice and contracting of both crew and suppliers• Maintaining client relationships and negotiating rates with suppliers• Site & crew management • Health & safety planning• Liaising Safety Advisory Groups: Police, Fire, council, Security • Venue contracting and negotiation • Traffic and pedestrian management• Licensing - including applications for Planning Permission & Premises LicencesCurrent Festivals include (but not limited to): Eastern ElectricsMaiden VoyageBoiler Room Jazz CafeTofte Manor Wasing on the MountLabyrinth on The Thames - Old Royal Naval College
