ABOUT ALEX MILLEMAN

Why did you choose engineering?\"- A question I am sure all engineering students have been asked countless times. When I present myself with this question, at what answer do I arrive? As the son of two psychologists, my parents certainly did not force me down this path. I was not entirely sure why I applied for engineering school. Even through much of my first two years of college I could not have answered this question truthfully. But late in my Sophomore year, sitting in the 8th floor of Cincinnati\'s Rhode\'s Hall, I found my answer. At my first hackathon, among three of my best friends, I found myself in an intoxicating environment. One full of excitement and bright new ideas. That night, as the four of us worked to build our project, I realized my desire for learning, creating winning solutions, and helping drive the world forward.
