Former WPP Fellow, Developing Market enthusiast, fluent Mandarin speaker and experienced Brand & Communications specialist with a demonstrated history across the branding, advertising and media disciplines, both within an agency environment and on the client side. Strong marketing leader skilled in Brand Strategy, Cultural Insight, Strategic Communications Planning and Campaign Development. My greatest motivation is being able to recruit and lead an energetic team to tackle comms challenges together; big, small, high-tech, low-tech, no matter how heavy the hit or subtle the impact. My core expertise lies in branding and communications, both B2B and B2C; I have developed and managed brands within the telecoms, finance and FMCG sectors. My most recent experience was as Head of Marketing for Myanmar’s largest bank, KBZ Bank. My strong agency background having worked with top agencies such as WPP’s JWT, Mindshare, Landor and Y&R, makes me very comfortable in selecting and managing agencies, and I understand what makes a successful marketing approach for a business. I have recruited and managed marketing teams, and have overseen the execution of events, multichannel campaigns, branded collateral, content development, street-level branding, education campaigns and in-app UI/UX. While with KBZ Bank, I was an integral member of the team developing and launching their mobile wallet, KBZPay, and as a result have good experience in agile working processes, development cycles and very tight deadlines.
