Program District Assistant (Job Developer)Under the supervision of the SBWIB GAIN Unit Manager (or designee), responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining a portfolio of employers for unsubsidized job placements for TSE program participants.Collaborating with One-Stop, JVS, and AJCC partners to target participants in the final stages of their assignments for job development.Building and maintaining strong employer relationships to secure job opportunities for program graduates.Arranging interviews and placing participants into unsubsidized jobs, meeting placement goals within set timeframes.Tracking participant activity and progress data to ensure program success.Conducting job readiness workshops and collaborating with AJCCs on recruitment efforts.Hosting, moderating, and organizing large- and small-scale job fairs to connect participants with employers.Participating in routine meetings, including One-Stop/AJCC, LA County GAIN Region Staff, and South Bay WIB GAIN Unit meetings.Preparing and submitting detailed reports as directed by management.Trained and assisted co-workers in proofreading and writing monthly presentations, serving as a backup presenter when needed.Supported participants with test preparation, resume writing, and interview coaching to enhance their job readiness.Key Skills:Virtual Teams & Remote CollaborationCustomer Service Operations & ExperienceInternet Recruiting & Social Media MarketingSales Operations & Staffing ServicesJob Placements & Talent ManagementEmployee Training & OnboardingHR Operations & ComplianceCoaching & MentoringCRM Databases & HRIS SystemsProblem Solving & Interpersonal SkillsTime Management & Organization SkillsCommunication & Customer Retention
