ABOUT MILIND SOLANKI

I love to create easily comprehensible solutions by diving into complex customer problems. I create solutions that matter and have long lasting impact on the society. To achieve this, I rely on building healthy client relationships, high performing teams and bringing in data driven insights on the table as value propositions. In a career, with relevant experience of over 14 years, I have worked primarily on Infrastructure and Energy Sectors, in domains such as Roads, Cementation, Airport, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution and on a couple of projects of Water distribution in Private as well as Government and Public Sectors. I have supported more than 35 clients globally ranging from Fortune 500 companies, Central and State Government agencies in South Africa, Middle East, Nepal, Bangladesh and India and International Financial Institutions (IFIs) like The World Bank, JICA and Asian Development Bank.I got the opportunity to work with the CIO of Reliance Infrastructure on Digital transformation projects with a portfolio of more than Crore INR across various sectors. During my stint at EY, I have worked with more than 30 clients across various roles and geographies. My personal and professional experiences have taught me the following about myself; I can successfully deliver the engagement to a highly demanding client with given constraints- I keep the client at the center of all that I do- I can speak Digital amalgamated with Domain, thereby bridging the gap between IT and Business- I follow my gut instinct but make sure to back it with data I can align, lead and grow world class management consultants that can pick the pulse of the problem - I find greater joy when my team excels through collaboration- I tell narratives that incite interest in clients and motivates my team- I am the ‘go to guy’ when it comes to taking the lead in a difficult engagement.I educate, hone and push myself to stay updated- I am always learning something new, be it professional or personal- I handle pressure well - I focus on making strategic decisionsI enjoy traveling. Most recent wonder, pre-pandemic i.e I beheld was Aurora Borealis aka Northern Lights in Tromso, Northern Norway. I like to read, play cricket, football and swim.
