Present Job profile Head Operation In Paramount OFC cable Previously working with Sterlite Power Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd, OPGW ( Optical Fibre Ground wire ) cable plant.• Responsible for Production Volume, OEE, FTR, Scrap % & Manufacturing cost COC, Production plan & execution. • New Product development trails and process stabilization• New RM development process trails and stabilization.Production Operation • Ensure process wise production plan targets as per plan and standards with optimum utilization • Initiate and develop creative & innovative work culture for OPGW cable manufacturing process• Uses of problem solving Lean tools like Brainstorming & Fish Bone Digram, Pareto Analysis f• Daily production board meeting with all team members to monitor stage wise production & Gap analysis Take corrective & preventive action for NC Product. Details process wise down time analysis• Deploy initiative as identified for improving plant efficiency and productivity• Use Lean process improvement tools like 5S, Kaizan, SMED,TPM and Poka-Yoke • Focus on FTR ( First time right ) • Work with Design and Quality team to address chronic issue• Monitor KPI –Volume, Scrap & FPY & corrective action plan.Productivity & Efficiency • OEE improvement plan• Plan for initiative for continuous improvement• Work with quality to reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ)Cost Reductions • Work towards ensuring cost saving in variable cost through innovative ideas and optimum uses of raw material, tools and consumables• Work with Technical process, Plan engineering and R&D team to attain energy saving in production process.• Ensure effective handling of material and over reduction of wastage,• Regularly meetings with SCM team for effective inventory planning.• Identify ways to reduce consumption of consumables and implement plan for the same.• RM consumption plan as per BOM Planning & Budgeting• Plan for material and equipment for carrying out the production as per plan • Scheduling for preventive maintains work.MIS and Reporting• Track production expenditure to ensure compliance to budget• Ensure all MIS is prepared and maintained by respective leader as per formats and time line• Ensure Sap is updated regularly and accurately by teamHealth and Safety • Ensure safety measure are consistently and strictly followed in the plant and take initiative to enhance acceptance of safety as culture so as to achieve zero accident level
