ABOUT MILICA GAY
I have over 20 years experience working in the project world at senior level having excelled at delivering projects and programmes in fast-paced industries (mobile/digital/technology/fmcg) on time and to budget. From start to finish, I can take a concept (however vague) from initiation to a delivered outcome – defining the scope; building the implementation plans; managing delivery; providing structure, governance and reporting; managing cross-functional project teams and communicating to stakeholders of all levels. The ability to inspire and motivate people is key to my success.I started my graduate career with Lloyds TSB in retail banking, and showed I could both identify improvement opportunities and deliver them. I then moved to Telefonica O2 and reached senior leadership levels, combining relationship building and people skills with my planning and organisational skills.In 2013 I appeared in the top 50 most powerful part-time workers list in the UK – as compiled by the Financial Times /Timewise. I have also won many internal awards for outstanding project outcomes. I am Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner qualified.From 2017 to 2024 I was consulting/contracting, and in my work with Diageo I demonstrated global programme delivery skills in multi-million pound transformation programmes including HR Transformation, launching a new IT & Ops agile project delivery methodology, and Commercial Planning. I then spent 18 months working in Marketing Procurement looking at processes and improvement opportunities, including running a global RFP tender and succesfully implementing the chosen supplier based on sustainability, effectiveness and efficiency.
