The aim of the fellowship is to introduce students to the frameworks of market process economics, public choice, and institutional analysis as well as to explore the utilization of the frameworks of the Austria, Virginia, and Bloomington schools of economics in analyzing contemporary policy issues.Additionally, the fellowship creates interdisciplinary collaboration between graduate students attending master\'s, juris doctoral, and doctoral programs in a variety of fields including economics, law, political science, public policy, urban planning, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, and more.
