About Miles Tepper

I am a current candidate for a Master of International Environmental Policy and Management at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, a graduate institute of Middlebury College. I have a BA in Political Science - International Relations (Public Policy) and English from Tulane University, and I also studied at the University of Auckland as an exchange student. I have strong skills in program and project management, communication, policy research, and grants management. Before beginning my Masters program, I have served as the Field Director on a District Supervisor campaign in San Francisco, as well as the Special Assistant to the Founder and CEO of Common Sense Media, the nation\'s leading nonprofit organization for families and kids in the digital age. In this role, I managed the Office of the CEO in all facets, including project management, meeting prep, day-to-day operations, and external relations. I also assisted the policy team with research, analysis, and legislative priorities, and collaborated with C-level figures across the tech and political arenas. Prior to my role at Common Sense Media, I served across various roles in the Mayor\'s Office in New Orleans, serving as a consistent and reliable team member for the Mayor\'s Offices of Intergovernmental Relations and Boards & Commissions. I am passionate about creating positive social impact through media and policy, and I am currently developing my skills and education base to embark on a career in the community development and climate & sustainability fields.
