ABOUT MILES SLEDD
Manager with an extensive background in working with people experiencing homelessness. Human relations, conflict resolution, operations, community health workers, medical and behavioral health outreach, and Chinese medicine. As a practitioner of Chinese medicine, I began to understand the complex ways that systems attempt to maintain balance while adapting to stress and change. In my professional life, I have applied the lessons I learned from my practice to managing social organizations of increasing complexity. I believe that I can best serve my community by continuing to apply the wisdom of Chinese medicine to the challenges of managing organizations and developing easy access points for people experiencing homelessness to connect with systems of support.
