As Lead Coding Instructor at Code for Life, I design and deliver project-based coding curriculum for middle and high school students, with a focus on Python, HTML, CSS, and foundational computer science principles. I lead instruction for students from low-income, inner-city communities, with the goal of closing the opportunity gap in tech education. My teaching blends real-world problem solving, web development fundamentals, and creative computing to spark engagement and build technical fluency. Drawing on my prior experience as Head Facilitator at the BGA JenYouth Summer Program, I continue to center equity, accessibility, and representation in every classroom. I also work closely with education leaders and tech professionals to ensure the curriculum aligns with industry-relevant programming skills and empowers students to see themselves in tech.
