Black Diamond Homes and Genesis Homes built and sold a 121-luxury home community on a key infill project in southwest Jefferson County, as its first Vertical venture. Miles acquired the assets of Trail-Ridge Homes of Colorado Springs in February of 2003 and expanded this company into Monument and Denver during 2004. Genesis through Trail-Ridge is developing 91 lots in Monument, and completed over 100 homes in Colorado Springs. Through various affiliated companies Miles as a partner is entitling 233 acres in Firestone, 160 acres in Thornton, 105 acres in two Castle Rock locations, and 270 homesites in Ft. Collins. Miles latest endeavor is senior housing in Colorado Springs, Colorado and a project with over Homesites. This new venture will be a 50+ community with affordable product and performance plus energy efficiency. Miles through his Construction Management Company has a contract to design, entitle and construct a 506 unit high end luxury community on the north end of Highlands Ranch. This project is called Verona and will be a 50+ community with three villages consisting of 48 townhomes, 90 flats and 368 units in 4 story podium buildings. The first village will begin construction in September of 2010
