ABOUT MILES BRADBURY

Miles is a Deal Advisory Partner at KPMG (the global business advisory firm) specialising in Energy & Infrastructure M&A, with a focus on financial due diligence, transaction and accounting advice in support of worldwide deals. In over 25 years of M&A, he has advised on transactions worth more than £300 billion globally and leads the Energy sector for KPMG Deal Advisory in the UK and the UK Power & Utilities due diligence practice. Miles also chairs KPMG\'s EMA Japanese practice leading KPMG\'s network across EMA supporting Japanese clients with Audit, Tax and Advisory services. Miles is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Trustee and Chair of the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation and Sail Training Trust charities, a former Royal Naval Reserve officer and Trustee of Royal Navy sailing. Miles is a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants, the City\'s livery company for the profession. From 2014 to 2015 Miles was seconded to the UK\'s Department of Energy as a Senior Civil Servant and Head of Investor Relations, working across Government and leading DECC\'s work to attract investors and finance to meet the UK\'s energy infrastructure investment requirements. Miles continues to be a regular speaker on the evolution of UK energy investment, and as a former Royal Naval Reserve Officer he also maintains a keen interest in international relations and defence issues. As Chair of the Trustee Board of the Andrew Simpson Foundation, Miles has led the growth of the charity which uses maritime activities to build communities, develop young people, raise aspirations and grow opportunities. In 10 years, the Foundation has developed from inception to working with young people a year and was awarded the President\'s Development Award by World Sailing (sailing\'s governing body) in 2023.
