ABOUT MILENA SANTORO M. PISEP

I am an Environmental and Sustainability professional in Bouygues TP in the major project HS2 in England. With a background degree in Environmental sciences and studies in Forestry, Agriculture, resources and Landscape management.Professional experience in ALIGN JV (Bouygues Construction) within the Environment and Sustainability team first as Environment advisor and assisting in environmental management. undertaking inspections water and waste testing, and advising the project teams in mitigation and controls, taking care of Compliance in reporting KPI, Sustainability, Carbon life cycle, Materials Management and Waste testing and controls, initiatives, implementation, recording and reporting at ALIGN JV for the C1 section of HS2.My role also entails direct collaboration with the BREEAM Assessor and EMS manager for compliance and completion of the assets handover to the client HS2.Previously been the Environmental advisor of the Colne Valley Viaduct (CVV) works for HS2.Proactively supported the Environmental Management of the High speed railway HS2 project\'s C1 section in England. Monitoring compliance with project consents and requirements, assisting in the management of environmental permits, legislation and delivery of the Environmental Management Systems and supporting the site and production teams environmental compliance.Directly lead the Environmental management for the Jetty Demobilisation (temporary haul roads removal on the lakes) package of works- Regularly inspecting environmental aspects, controlling and documenting environmental and ecology risks and compliance onsite before and during the works programme. Producing and reviewing relevant resources and environmental documentation, including risk assessments method statements for proposed work activities- Liaising with stakeholders as required- Cultivating and improving a lasting sustainability culture in the industry.Practitioner ISEP member-SocEnv Registered Environmental Practitioner-BREEAM AP Design & Site-currently undertaking the Certificate Course in Whole Life Carbon from the RICS.
