I\'m a corporate-retail-strategist-turned-bagel-baker. After months of R&D in my home kitchen and force-feeding my friends, I launched Rebelle Artisan Bagels in late 2016 to scratch my entrepreneurial itch and to meet an unaddressed need in the Providence community: really good bagels. With everything I do, I strive to add a high level of thought and sophistication. Rebelle\'s marketing strategy is focused and well-defined, and we have set a very high standard for the product we share with our customers. This has helped us garner support from well-regarded chefs, local publications and the community at large. I am thrilled every time someone tells me my bagels remind them of home! In my life prior to baking, I spent close to 4 years as a retail strategist at CVS Health, where I picked up business skills that have been critical to my success as an entrepreneur.

   I launched an award-winning startup bagel bakery out of Hope & Main, a local food business incubator, and grew into a storefront in Providence within 8 months of launching. We use traditional techniques, such as hand-rolling and boiling in malted barley, to turn high-quality ingredients into what our customers call the best bagels around Providence. We also blend specialty cream cheeses and cure our own lox. I lead a team of 10 between front and back of house, including a head baker who I trained from scratch. I am responsible for managing financials, operations, marketing, partnerships and overall strategy for the business.
