ABOUT MILENA MALTESE ZUFFO
With over four years of experience as a lawyer and consultant, I have developed expertise in commercial law, digital law, data protection, and maritime law. I have drafted contracts, answered legal enquiries, written reports and memorandums, and assisted board and committee meetings for various clients. I have also designed data protection compliance projects and contributed to regional ocean decade action proposals. As a passionate advocate for ocean governance, the law of the sea, and sustainability, I have led and managed multiple projects of ocean capacity development, including the organization of seminars and conferences. I have published several papers and newspaper articles related to international public law, the law of the sea, environmental diplomacy, and data protection. I have delivered presentations at several international law conferences since 2014, and I was honored to speak at the UN General Assembly Hall in 2017. I am currently pursuing an LLM in Maritime Law degree at UCL, and have a MSc in International Law at USP.
