I’ve always believed that people are at the heart of every successful organization. My journey through various roles in human resources has been driven by this belief. Starting from my early days as a Human Resources Manager at the Doubletree Hotel as well as the Marriott Hotel to my current role as a Human Resources Generalist at Enhance Health in Florida, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand how effective HR practices can transform workplace culture. During my time at Spirit Airlines as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for Inflight Ops, I managed a multi-channel recruiting process that not only filled our pipeline with high-quality candidates but also fostered an environment where employees felt valued right from the start. I remember one particular job fair where we connected with over 150 potential candidates—many of whom are now thriving members of our team. It’s these moments of connection that fuel my passion for recruitment. At Shiji Group, I oversaw key HR functions including performance management and employee relations for a tech company dedicated to servicing the hospitality sector. Implementing new policies during such rapid growth was challenging yet rewarding; it taught me how critical it is to adapt strategies that align with both company goals and employee needs. This experience deepened my understanding of what it means to be an effective business partner in HR. I thrive on collaboration and enjoy being part of a team that prioritizes growth—not just for the organization but for individual employees as well. Outside of work, I stay engaged by attending HR workshops and networking events.
