About Mildred G.
Served in Broward County Public Schools for over 30 years as an ESOL and Language Arts teacher, Literacy Coach, and Race to the Top Grant Project Manager, Literacy Director and MTSS supervisor. My experiences growing up as a second language learner and later becoming an English/Language Arts teacher led me to develop a strong passion and commitment to children and adolescent\'s literacy development in reading and writing. I am a passionate educational leader, team player, staff developer, instructional coach, and lifelong learner who enjoys networking, growing, learning, and reading and participating in professional learning opportunities for personal and professional growth. Most importantly, I am a proud mother of four amazing children and a wife to my wonderful husband, an educator and Principal in Broward County schools.
