Lead Engineer for hydrogen infrastructure projects across the Netherlands, including underground valve stations for the national hydrogen backbone (e.g, the North Sea Canal Area project: Managing multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, geotechnical) and coordinating closely with electrical and instrumentation disciplines. Acting both as lead engineer and advisor on strategic hydrogen projects of national and international importance; overseeing draftsmen and engineers, reporting to the technical lead to ensure alignment with project objectives and technical requirements- Project Lead for small- to mid-sized projects (€30k to €100k range), overseeing up to six engineers and draftsmen. Responsible for design, engineering calculations, budgets, planning and direct client communication, consistently delivering projects on time and within budget- Providing engineering solutions and conducting (finite element) stress analyses for (underground) pipeline designs for multi-million euro projects, including Porthos CCUS (DN1050 CO₂ pipeline in the Port of Rotterdam: Gasunie metering & regulator stations, and LNG facilities in the Eemshaven seaport This includes writing clear and concise reports and memorandums, supporting the engineering deliverables- Departmental lead for the quality management system, responsible for ensuring compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement across all deliverables for our main client, Gasunie, and its subsidiaries. Overseeing and aligning quality processes within our department and coordinating with other teams across the organization to ensure integration with organizational and client standards.
