A passion for developing himself and others, Milan Shah is driven to learn in all aspects of life. A PwC Audit Partner, he joined the firm as an experienced hire focusing on the hedge fund industry for many of the firm’s complex, prestigious asset management clients. Recognized for his straight forward, decisive leadership approach, Milan demonstrates collaboration and expects high standards when servicing his clients. Involve me and I’ll develop.”It’s no surprise that from 2004 to 2008 he took the opportunity to be an adjunct professor at Fordham University’s College of Business Administration. From 2012 to 2017, Milan continued to actively develop talent by participating in PwC’s Access Your Potential program, leading the firm’s efforts with a middle school in the New York City area. In 2014, he had the honor of being the commencement speaker at graduation. Outside his client base, Milan brings his boundless energy coupled with a sense of calm to the NY Chapter of Ascend and served as President from 20••••17 and currently serves as a member of the National Advisory Board of Ascend.Ask Milan about his favorite past time and you’ll uncover that he enjoys wines from around the world. The wine industry piqued Milan’s interest in his 20’s with a curiosity and marvel at the wide range of flavors and tastes. He’ll also readily talk about the pleasure he and his wife, Jan,(a Pilates instructor) get from their two pugs, Sophie and Bear. Milan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Rutgers University and also completed INSEAD’s Executive Education program in 2016. In 2017, Milan received an award from the Asian American Business Development Center as one of the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business. In 2025, Milan received the 20th Anniversary President’s Award from Ascend for his longstanding service to the organization.
