Hello, I am Milan Hussain Angati, I’m an MS in Computer Science student at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), with experience across machine learning, LLM evaluation, and software engineering. Currently, I’m an AI Fellow at Handshake, where I work on step-level annotation and evaluation of LLM code trajectories, improving labeling quality using a clear taxonomy and writing minimal-edit fixes that preserve methodology and reproducibility.Previously, I was a Software Engineer at Tata Elxsi, building a prototype airbag deployment system using a PIC microcontroller, UART communication, PWM control for alerts, and SQL-based sensor data logging, supported by complete documentation (SRS, traceability matrices, HLD/LLD).I built a Federated Learning (DP + Secure Aggregation) brain tumor detection system across 3 simulated hospitals, never sharing raw MRI data, while demonstrating improved performance over federated rounds and packaging the full workflow in a single Jupyter Notebook for live demo and reproducibility. I also created a bike-share demand forecasting pipeline (weather + calendar + station signals) using clustering and XGBoost to predict hourly demand at scale.I’m open to Machine Learning Engineer / Applied Scientist / Software Engineer (ML) opportunities where I can contribute to model development, evaluation, and production-grade workflows.
