As Community Design Lead at Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (the d.school) I engage in \"Community & Curriculum Design.\" CONVENE: Foster a community of practice in Community Centered Design, Black Centered Design, Liberatory Design, and more. CREATE: Collaborate in the development of new practices and methods along a personal line of inquiry about designing communities and activism. COMMUNICATE: Develop methods to document and share work within the d.schol and the Stanford University campus as well as sharing with our community + community partners beyond the Stanford\'s campus.More specifically my charge is, but not limited to: Build Belonging: Lead our work to build an increasingly diverse d.school community of students, teaching teams, and external partners that promotes and supports belonging throughout. Design Bridges: Advance the field of design at the d.school by fostering a community of practice focused on the development and dissemination of design practices and methods created and led by historically marginalized thinkers and doers.
