ABOUT MILAGROS MONTALVO
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Milagros grew up consuming and engaging with all forms of media, especially film and television. It was the power of these mediums to create new worlds and complex characters that drove Milagros to pursue a career in Media & Entertainment. As a woman of color, Milagros strives to make the entertainment industry more inclusive and reflective of the diverse world around us. She has worked at Lionsgate, Marc Platt Productions, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), HBO Max, NBCUniversal, JuVee Productions, Focus Features, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and MY Entertainment, and has worked in a variety of fields including creative development, production, post-production, marketing, events, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI). She wishes to combine her passion for inclusive storytelling with her unique skillset to champion for arts equity and diverse media representation and drive deeper connections between our communities and art.
