Responsible for development and maintenance of entire Worldwide BBC Network Infrastructure, including public and private cloud infrastructure. Develop tools supporting infrastructure. develop and administer infrastructure solutions, Working with a wide range of monitoring platforms and tools. Work with MPLS, VPLS, BGP, Routing, Cisco and Juniper. Automation for developed applications with use of Puppet and Ansible. Undertake personal projects within OTG Networks. Install, maintain and monitor systems running on both physical hardware and virtualized environments. Assist with the maintenance of live production infrastructure. Collaborate with other technical teams to exploit new technologies to enhance the applications and service infrastructure. The work involves hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies and industry-leading tools to demonstrate networking and system engineering skills. Personal project- Deploy SNMP trap monitoring for the entire Core Network and Peering Routers (interfaces and routing-bgp) to work with Zenoss (Juniper mostly)- Upgrading BBC Core Network- Deploy the NetBox IPAM tool with automation (Puppet).
