We\'ve set the standard for design and construction, and now we\'re leading the movement toward more accessible and inclusive skateparks. My role as Director Of Strategic Initiatives draws on my two decades of working with community groups and local leaders in advocating for public skateparks to guide CA\'s leadership and design team in rethinking how skateparks can better serve their communities. Skateboarding has been growing and diversifying in ways we couldn\'t have predicted a decade ago, and California Skateparks\' leadership in the skatepark industry will influence how all skatepark firms fulfill the needs of the communities they service. After listening to top adaptive skateboarders and wheelchair athletes from around the world, I developed the All Access Skateparks design philosophy, which considers ALL skatepark users in creating more inclusive skateparks. I\'ve also identified opportunities to further reduce the environmental impact of concrete skateparks through materials recycling and sourcing carbon-neutral alternatives. In addition to my strategic planning work, I served as Interim Managing Director of the CA Training Facility, our on-site full-scale indoor concrete competition Park and Street courses that served the world\'s elite skaters, visiting international teams, and local amateurs though our coaching program. We were also the official skateboarding training center for Team USA through the Paris 2024 Olympics. It was my honor to work with so many world-class athletes from around the globe, as well as the sport\'s brightest up-and-comers. CA Training Facility closed in 2025 when we moved our headquarters.
