ABOUT MIKHAIL SARKISOV

I am a business-technology cybersecurity professional with ability to integrate global enterprise strategy, product development, and the operational execution of cybersecurity directives. My background is diverse, covering cybersecurity, global platform delivery, manufacturing operations and supply chain transformation. Currently, I serve as a Principal Product Manager in Information Security & Risk, where I lead a global, cross-functional team in designing, developing, and implementing Amway’s first-ever Value Chain security program. This program, with its interconnected systems sharing data across Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Operational Technology (OT), and traditional networks spanning from Research & Development, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouses, Fulfillment and Transportation. Business continuity is the cornerstone of this program, ensuring that Amway\'s mission-critical systems, which support the “make and deliver” process for millions of customers worldwide, remain secure from disruptions caused by operational technology (OT) cyber events within the supply chain and Industrial Control Systems (ICS). As part of this global initiative, I architected and led the implementation of Amway’s global Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program, integrating Legal, Privacy, Procurement, and Finance processes into a unified global framework. With the main focus on Value Chain security I continue to oversee the global TPRM program in my role as process owner and subject matter expert (SME), ensuring compliance with the cyber and privacy laws of various countries. Through my expertise in global process development, I actively build partnerships with executives and stakeholders from different Amway business units and markets. This collaboration ensures that technology drives growth, user engagement, and most importantly the adoption of processes. Throughout my extensive IT career, I have gained in-depth knowledge in various areas, including desktop support, LAN administration, telecommunications, and network support. Additionally, I possess significant experience in manufacturing and distribution processes, as well as IT support. My work in developing, implementing, and supporting the Manufacturing Execution System has shaped my career and led me to focus on securing Manufacturing Control Networks, thereby enhancing the security of operational technology.
