From a young age, it was clear that communication was my superpower. No matter where I sat in class, I found a way to connect with those around me, so much so that my teachers consistently told my parents, “Mikhaela loves to communicate.” That early passion for connection has shaped every step of my journey.Whether it was serving on Student Council, captaining every volleyball team I played on, or immersing myself in new languages and cultures as an adult, I’ve always leaned into opportunities to lead, learn, and engage with others. And I don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon!Today, as a dedicated HR professional, I channel that same energy into fostering growth and development, for individuals and organizations alike. I thrive in dynamic environments where empathy, adaptability, and strategic thinking are key. My goal is to help build workplace cultures rooted in respect, continuous learning, and genuine human connection. Because when we invest in people, we elevate everything.

   I support the Corporate HR team in delivering HR services and programs to the Louisville, KY Branch. I provide local leaders with support in various HR functions such as onboarding and offboarding, talent and acquisition, benefit assistance, performance management, payroll, and employee engagement activities. Utilizing my experience in HR, I am able to assist and guide escalations and resolutions of HR questions, requests, and issues to the appropriate channels. I act as a resource for Louisville, and am dedicated to fostering an environment where continuous learning is priority.
