With more than two decades of leadership experience in major-market newsrooms, I have built and managed high-performing teams that deliver impactful, ethical, and award-winning journalism across multiple platforms. As an Executive Producer at KPRC 2 and previously at ABC13 in Houston, I have overseen top-rated newscasts, implemented newsroom workflows that integrate digital and broadcast production, and mentored producers, reporters, and anchors to uphold the highest editorial standards—skills that align directly with the responsibilities of the News Director role at CBS | Telemundo Austin.In addition to my newsroom management experience, my tenure as Director of Communications at JPS Hospital strengthened my strategic and crisis communication expertise—particularly in coordinating accurate, transparent messaging during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I bring a deep understanding of journalistic ethics, fiscal responsibility, and brand management, as well as a proven ability to grow audience engagement across platforms.
