About Mike Witters

I am the Senior Director of IT Architecture at Winsupply, Inc. I have spent the past 27+ years in software development. I have been primarily focused on object-oriented technologies on Linux, AIX, and Windows platforms, but also worked with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, and JCL in my early years. I have been an Object-Oriented developer and designer for over 20 years. I was a presenter at the IBM WebSphere Portal and Content Manager Technical Conference in 2004 and have lead several training sessions on the Java Programming language, JEE, Object-Oriented Development and Design, SOA, and agile development principles. These days I work on leading our API management and distributed computing efforts along with working towards optimizing the developer experience with modern devops practices.Specialties: Modern Service-Oriented Architectures, Java, Groovy, Grails, JavaScript, HTML, MuleSoft AnyPoint, OO Design & Development, Spring framework (and its surrounding ecosystem).
