With over 20 years of experience, I have negotiated, settled or successfully tried countless divorce, domestic relations cases involving the most complex issues relating to children, domestic violence and financial matter disputes. As a negotiator, I am skilled in designing plans to achieve client goals. As a trial lawyer, I am skilled in the art of persuasion, advocacy for both the spouse and children, and utilize creativity as needed to accomplish my client’s concerns, both in and out of the courtroom. I have been representing children for the court as an appointed Guardian Ad Litem of Child Representative almost exclusively for many years. Previous Experience - Real estate closing and short sale negotiations. Monitoring properties for client and constant contact with lending institutions to arrive at a mutual destination for client and lender. Agent liscense with local title search companies-Personal injury/ Medical Malpractice defense and personal injury prosecution having worked for numerous insurance companies as well as for the little guy on the opposite end. Intimately familiar with alternate dispute resolution, settlement negotiations and trial. Familiar with Cook Will, Grundy, LaSalle and Kankakee County court houses, clerks and personnel-Current Specialties: Domestic Relations Law, Negotiations, Child Representation, Litigation, Parental Responsibility Disputes, Parenting Time Disputes, Child Support and Maintenance issues.
