ABOUT MIKE TURNER

In 2020 the world pressed “RESET” and everything we ever knew about the way things were done was turned upside down overnight. The way we do business changed and with it the way we do social media, expos, conferences, training and networking. Why do I mention these in particular? Welcome to my world My name is Mike Turner and I help business owners and professionals achieve great results for their business through networking, education and support. Whether through social media marketing (a gig that I’ve been playing since 2006, pretty much when it all began) or through my network and more specifically, my networking organisation, the Six O’Clock Club. The Six O’Clock Club started life in January 2013 as a project for the year to run an after-work event in London once a month to bring clients, prospects and colleagues together to network in a relaxed informal environment over a drink or two. It worked! Pretty soon we had hundreds of people meeting every month, entrepreneurs, innovators and investors, all with a common interest in growing their network and building their businesses and community. When I moved to Cornwall the Six O’Clock Club moved with me and we now have over members in our various Facebook and LinkedIn groups and many more through my broader network. But back to that 2020 “RESET” and \"what next\"? Because that’s the question on everyone’s lips. I’ve believed the “future is digital” for a long time, which is why, I\'m now working on an exciting new project with Falmouth University to help business owners like you not only keep up with change but GET AHEAD. Whether through our fabulous business education programme or through peer support and mentoring to the launch of a series of events in Autumn 2022 offering small business owners a “BIG BUSINESS” advantage to showcase their products and services to the world at minimal cost and greatest return. Don\'t even get me started on the Metaverse and the huge opportunities that will bring. Right NOW, we have a massive need to up-skill a nation and support the growing army of small business owners across the UK and that’s my mission.
