Portside Advisors was started by Mike Size. Mike developed his financial analysis skills working for commercial finance companies including two Fortune 50 companies - GE Capital and Wells Fargo Bank. He has studied businesses with large, complex corporate structures while financing multi-million dollar projects on the West Coast. As a Montana banker, Mike worked with small, local finance entities and specialized in the smaller independent business owner. This diverse financial background gives Mike unique insights when working with any size company. Mike earned his MBA in 2002, and passed his Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) exam with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) in 2009. Mike earned the prestigious Accredited Senior Appraiser designation from the American Society of Appraisers in 2016. This is the most rigorous designation in the valuation industry.
