About Mike Sites

For starters, I’m more than the sum of just a few listed job titles on LinkedIn. As a quick and simple summary, I’d say, I’m a builder. I just love the grit, the grind and the process of building new ventures, creating synergies, and finding solutions to improve processes, technology and people’s lives. I guess to know me, it would be helpful to understand the values I adhere to. Here are a few: Family is paramount, each person is unique with upside potential, hard work & responsibility are critical to self-worth and success, debate leads to truth and improvement, belief and faith are important, recognizing your own weakness is a pathway to wisdom, teaching is the best way to learn, two heads are better than one, persistence and patience will get you anywhere you want, and there is always a solution to every problem. In my professional life – I have collaboratively worked with others in scaling startups from the ground up, finding strategic solutions to growth, exits, M&A, establishing alliances and partnerships, building consensus for profitable negotiations, and in developing a culture of innovation, team work, and productivity. I\'m especially good at the details in legal, due diligence, operations, negotiations and collaborating to finding solutions that are practical and strategic. I have consulted over 70 startups and businesses world-wide from the US to Singapore, to the UK, Europe and many others; and I\'ve helped generate strategic alliances and millions in revenues and profits. Additionally, I am and will always be an entrepreneur at heart. Since I was 8 years old, I’ve been involved with numerous side hustles, business schemes and startups. This stemmed from growing up in rural Idaho, with a large family and little money – So, I\'ve developed a good work ethic, a gritty disposition, an interest in how technology improves lives, a curiosity of why people are the way they are, and an aptitude to creatively solve problems. My formal education has been in economics and finance. But my passions have been in entrepreneurship, leadership, Venture Capital, building ventures and startups, learning new technologies, and enjoying life with my wife and children. Ultimately, I’m a family man with over 20 years of professional experiences and over 40 years in life experiences. I’m a hardworking, compassionate and passionate problem-solving individual that is confident that I can create success in any environment I’m placed in.
