I\'m well-versed in leading teams and project management, but mostly I enjoy hands-on. I\'ve built up companies from scratch with an eye on long haul deployment and future-proofing. I collaborate with managers and end users, utilizing current technologies that best fit goals and budgets. My years of troubleshooting have brought a unique sense of where the problems arise in system design and how to streamline workflow. I\'ve been in the trenches in live production support as well as post and I understand the processes and weaknesses at each stage of the process. I\'ve always liked the fact that tech challenges require new learning every day. The current move to IP-based workflow and the Cloud are new challenges that keep this work interesting. Storage and archive solutions are constantly improving along with system integration. I\'ve learned to update my toolbox along with users\' new toolsets. Each new development comes with its own set of challenges and solutions. My greatest strength is as a troubleshooter. The buck stops with me in that regard. As an integrator, I sweat the details to make facilities work seamlessly. This is an exciting time in Hollywood, the convergence of technologies has created advances in efficiency that centralizes workflow from many departments.
