ABOUT MIKE PACITTO

A Senior Executive / IT Director with extensive experience of building and running IT departments, delivering change and improving service. I have held senior positions in a number of organisations/sectors including blue chip banking, outsourced service providers, joint venture payments service provider and an up and coming challenger bank. In all organisations I have engaged at Board level, and operated at a number of Senior positions to build and transform IT & IT Services whilst building an important operating relationship with the business stakeholders and supply chain. I am a real evangelist when it comes to the delivery of complex change and ensuring the transition into live is done safely and smoothly. My innovative and adaptable leadership style has supported my capability to identify weaknesses or opportunities for efficiencies and delivering organisational improvements to add value to the bottom line. I am a seasoned Service Management professional/consultant and ITIL expert, I have consistently delivered best practice to many areas of the departments I have worked in, and worked collaboratively with change programmes to ensure Service is not affected. I am very happy to roll up my sleeves and confident to ask challenging questions at all levels to ensure appropriate and robust technical solutions are delivered, where necessary suitable investment is secured or risks are properly assessed, communicated and managed. I enjoy working in multi disciplined teams, across the whole organisation, operating comfortably with stakeholders from all functions up to board level. I have an excellent track record for achieving challenging company goals in service improvement, cost reduction, change delivery & risk management. With strong negotiating skills, and the ability to engender trust, I have many years experience in vendor and contracts management, forging powerful and effective relationships and partnerships used in the delivery of day to day service, insourcing and outsourcing. These skills have proved useful when operating successfully within complex stakeholder environments, skilfully balancing expectations and the needs of the clients and shareholders. I have been a pension trustee, involved in many complex pension changes, triennial valuation, covenant review plus a member of the investment and finance committee. I have a passion for developing people, am an apprentice advocate and provide personal and business coaching and mentoring at various levels.
