Currently provide both front-end and back-end engineering support for key customers. Convert customer requirements into Functional Requirement Specifications for design wins. Serve as primary interface between Engineering and key customers during development projects and for sustaining support. Provided on-site support to help drive issue find rate at customer site down from 10 issues per week to 1 issue per week. Managed customer reaction to a major quality flaw and assisted in recovery activities regarding the issues resulting in new design wins. Involved extensive travel to Europe (~50% time) over a 6 month period.Managed a team of 15 Engineers responsible for sustaining all of Radisys’ networking products. Team was responsible for all of Radisys’ ATCA CPU and ATCA switching products, and all “perfect fit” solution products for the Networking Business Unit. Responsible for direct customer interface for key customers.Primary engineering interface for all new product development and sustaining engineering activities for Radisys’s top customer, responsible for approximately 30% of the company’s total revenue. During this time, Radisys released 8 new products for this customer. The products included standards-based ATCA CPU, ATCA hard disk, and ATCA DSP modules, and customer-specific ”perfect fit” solutions. Involved extensive travel to Europe for on-site customer status meetings and development working sessions.
