ABOUT MIKE METZ
Born and raised in Wichita, KS through High School graduation. Graduated from The Independent School in and then moved on to Kansas University the following year. Joined the Delta Upsilon fraternity and graduated with a degree in Communication Studies in 2004. After graduating, I gained experience in multiple fields ranging from being a chef’s assistant to sales before landing a more permanent career at Learfield Sports representing Kansas State Sports properties as an Account Executive. In 2010, after four years in Manhattan, KS experiencing the sports marketing world, I was then hired by BGM Sports as the Director of Sales for Shocker Radio back in Wichita, KS. Currently in Wichita and still working for Shocker Radio, I am being transitioned in to a Business Development role for Syndeo Human Resources which will become my exclusive position moving forward after the 2013-14 college athletic season. At Syndeo (a full service HR Outsourcing company/PEO/co-employer/co-employment) that manages transactional human resources, workers compensation and benefits management as well as payroll services and now staffing services.) My role is locating business owners who are tired of dealing with the back office management of Human Resources and want to focus more of their time on the productive side of their workplace.
