I am chairman of the pro-am committee at the Travelers Championship. My role is assist the Tournament Staff in providing our sponsors with a world-class experience during the two pro-am days. It is quite rewarding to hear our sponsors walk out of the evening reception and tell us how much they enjoyed their day. The Travelers Championship is a PGA TOUR golf event that has been played in Wethersfield and Cromwell Connecticut for over fifty years. Change Agent for the accounting profession whose current role will impact the progress on key issues facing the profession, including women / family initiatives, DEI, work-life harmony, and value rather than time. I\'ll poke the bear and challenge historical norms to leave the profession in a better place than we found it.Find 1 way to make it work instead of looking at the ways it might not work. Challenge the status quo to see if there is a better way. Personal stuff: I played baseball for 25 years (now it\'s softball), I run with my wife (a lot), I read, and I enjoy every minute of time with my family, especially at Disney & traveling to all 50 states.I truly, truly enjoy helping people and clients. Whether it is training and developing staff or collaborating on an issue with a client or colleague to help them come up with a workable solution. This is my lane and where I find the most joy. As the leader of Aprio Firm Alliance - I get to practice this on a daily basis with our members.
