ABOUT MICHAEL LYNDON

I love tackling challenges that require diverse expertise and involve collaborating with multiple teams. My career spans advertising, film, video games, and media, searching for new problems to solve and new things to learn. I\'m at my happiest when I\'m doing something I\'m passionate about (it even says so in my Human Design chart). Thankfully, that\'s been the case for most of my career. I find a spark, follow the thread of excitement, and keep going until I\'ve satisfied my thirst. While my journey sometimes makes me nervous about my marketability, these interdisciplinary connections have proven invaluable on multiple projects.I\'ve never aspired to climb the company ladder. I\'m just as happy leading a team as I am getting stuck in and writing the code or crafting the image. Actually, that\'s not entirely true. I need to be coding or crafting to some extent to stay happy. I\'d rather work with talented people who value their autonomy, are trusted to do their best work, and ask for help when needed.Sharing my experiences and what I\'ve learned is built into my way of being. I\'ve taught full time in the past and I\'ve presented more talks and webinars and training sessions than I can remember. It helps me solidify what I know and it gives me those feel good vibes when I see others find value in what I have to share.I\'ve been a digital nomad on and off over the years. I love visiting new places, meeting new people and finding community wherever I go. I find balance and perspective when I\'m surrounded by people in different jobs with their own daily challenges.I\'m constantly reading. Self-help, fiction, blog posts, white papers. A lot of the time it\'s just for enjoyment, sometimes it\'s for personal/professional development.
