My 1st deployment for FEMA was in 2008 as a Generalist for Hurricane GUSTAV (DR-1786) in Baton Rouge, LA from 8/29/2008 to 9/28/08.2nd deployment was Hurricane IKE (DR-1791) which started in Austin, TX and ended in Texas City, TX between 9/30/2008 to 9/04/2009. I started as a Generalist and was picked up by Region 6 and became a Reports Specialist. I performed all duties of the Resource Unit by November of 2008.There was a 22 month interruption of my deployments when my mother had her stroke on 9/07/2009. I remained home helping her with her therapy at home and out patient facilities. I worked with her until she was independant enough to be on her own at home with minimal supervision by my brother.3rd deployment was as a Resource Specialist for the Spring Severe Rains and Floods (DR-4003) in a virtual JFO in the Region 3 RRCC in Philadelphia, PA on 7/19/2011. While I was deployed the Region experienced the East Coast Earthquake, Hurricane IRENE (DR-4025) and Tropical Storm LEE (DR-4030) at which point I became a shared resources for all disasters and was eventually moved to the Harrisburg, PA JFO on 9/11/2011 until 10/16/2011 at which time I became a Public Assistance Planning Specialist from 10/16/2011 till demob on 7/03/2012.4th deployment was as a Resource Specialist for Hurricane ISAAC (DR-4080) in Baton Rouge, LA from 9/02/2012 until 7/19/2013.5th deployment was as a Resource Specialist for a 3 week deployment in Little Rock, AR for Severe Storms, Tornadoes and Flooding (DR-4124) starting on 7/22/2013 until 8/09/2013.6th deployment was as a Resource Specialist for 2 week deployment in Tallahassee, FL for Severe Storms and Flooding (DR-4138) from 8/12/2013 to 8/23/2013.I Have been home taking care of my mother since her rapid decline in early 2014.7th deployment: Worked the \"Texas 6\" disasters from June 5, 2015 to May 5, 2017. Duties performed: OPS Planner, NDRS Planner, RSSL, DOCL, SITL, PSC.8th deployment: Hurricane Harvey 8/27/17-1/10/20.
