About Michael Kit

I am an End to End Solution Architect with over 15 years of experience helping Telco Service Providers with Technology planning and transformation towards 5G networking from 5GNR Radio Planning to 5G Packet Core Architecture, next gen IP Routing and Optical Networking, Data Center Virtualization, SDN and Security. Early in my career, I had the opportunity to lead the hands-on E2E deployment of 3G EVDO and 4G LTE networks across the several markets in the US and Canada. My skillset in Professional Services allowed me to move into an E2E 5G Pre-Sales Architect at the dawn of 5G.I am now in a role where I can help customers accelerate their deployments and day 2 operations with better solutions for Data Center infrastructure, SDN connectivity in a secure and automated fashion. At VMWare, we demystify Virtualization, SDN and Cloud concepts for Telco 5G networks. We take the complexity out of K8s and make it easy to deploy, scale and connect CNFs. Our SDN solutions allow you to easily connect and migrate your workloads quickly. Our security policy gets wrapped around your workloads, so there\'s no network gymnastics and forcing traffic to be hair pinned through a security appliance. Oh yes and automation, everything we do can be automated via APIs or through a GUI.In addition to Sales, I was an Architect for the Nokia Bell Labs Future X Lab which was a special CTO project to build an End to End 5G network using only Nokia products to show case Bell Labs research and latest Nokia solutions. I\'ve had an opportunity to work across several Telco networks across various architectures and designs, and first hand understand best practices and technology challenges Telco customers are facing. Above the technical skillsets, I love sharing my knowledge and experiences to help solve problems and to push the boundaries of technology.
