About Mike Norton
I build and ship AI/ML and data platform products for large enterprises. For the last 5+ years I’ve been leading multiple scrums (4–5 at a time) on a billing data platform at T-Mobile, focused on anomaly detection, customer insights, and data quality improvements that make real operational impact.Before AI/ML product work, I spent 30+ years in telecom and enterprise IT as a Director and Sr. Manager. I’ve learned that in enterprise environments, execution beats vision, and value is created when engineering, data science, and the business can actually deliver together. That’s what I’m good at.I’m currently completing a PhD in AI because I enjoy the field and want to contribute for many more years — ideally at the intersection of AI, data, and systems where the work is complex and meaningful.Looking for Senior Product roles (remote or Kansas City hybrid) where execution, maturity, and practical AI delivery matter.
