I’ve spent over 30 years working offshore in oil and gas, mainly in environments where safety, reliability, and getting decisions right really matter. My background is largely in operations and control room roles, dealing with real-time problems rather than theory.I’m now building on that experience through a BSc in Geosciences and an MSc in Petroleum Engineering, focusing on how operations, subsurface understanding, and the energy transition come together — from production optimisation and emissions reduction to CCS.Alongside my energy career, I founded, scaled, and exited a regulated FMCG business, raising investment and building manufacturing and supply chains in a highly regulated market.
