TradeChoice is a leading UK Independent Distributor of Floor Covering Products.My role has two main aspects, firstly is the day to day management of the stock purchasing team responsible for £6M stock in a central distribution centre. Second is overall responsibility for all group stock, currently £14M stock across 11 sites. This includes maintaining stock levels to maximise availability whilst keeping within budget, actively managing our old and obsolete stock to reduce the impact on the business, developing a standard core range to be stocked in every site and deciding on any stock investment proposals. I have developed and improved KPI reports which are used in all sites.
