Train and manage a small team of field support engineers, ensuring all performance goals are met.• Participate in weekly stand-up meetings with senior management.• Conduct quarterly customer calls to gauge satisfaction, identifying key areas for improvement and acting swiftly to address concerns.• Ensure customer site issues are resolved swiftly and thoroughly.• Conduct root cause analysis on recurrent technical issues and implement solutions that decrease repeat system failures.• Write and maintain technical and operational documentation.• Commission new equipment at customer sites. • Collaborate with contractors, municipality representatives, site personnel, and project managers during the commissioning process.• Complete equipment modifications.• Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on all equipment.• Troubleshoot AC circuits (120, 240, and 480 volts) and DC circuits (5, 12, and 24 volts).• Maintenance of PLC systems (predominantly Allen-Bradley) including PLC modules (AIO, DIO, RTD, CPU) and peripherals such as flowmeters, modulating actuators / valves, DO meters, pressure transducers, RTD temperature probes, and encoders. • Maintain HMI operator interfaces, variable frequency drives (KEB and Vacon). Familiar with KEB Combivis software.• Measure and monitor 4-20 mA and voltage feedback loops• TCP/IP networking, router configurations and IP setting, patch panels, terminal blocks, and all associated cabling.• Computer repair and software / hardware installations and upgrades.• Perform critical software updates and backups of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and computers.• Read and understand construction and machine blueprints, electrical schematics, pneumatic schematics, and P & ID diagrams* Provide customers with proposals for equipment upgrades and maintenance programs, tailored to their specific needs.
