    We manufacture equipment to process blood and blood products for blood banks and the medical market to save lives. I currently work on Tabletop assembly. Accomplishments include:• Identified as a team member to do time studies for an efficiency project for loop table and loop dryer. Time study and TAKT time of loop dryer, loop splitting, loop snapping, loop cutting and loop to cassette stations for engineering. Also obtained information from loop dryer manufacturer to help convert current single Kanban to double Kanban system.• Participated in a Pilot Program in which direct labor associates worked with Facilities teams to clean facilities during the annual manufacturing shutdown.• Participated in Roof Debris Mitigation, March of 2019* Skilled in pack out, checking products for proper sealing quality and boxing parts for shipment.* As a floater, I loosen bottlenecks in assembly and take the initiative to stop bottlenecks before they have a chance to happen.• Skilled in mechanical assembly of disposable medical device tubing kits-Meet/exceed production efficiency and quality standards -Check work for quality of preceding associate -Confirm my work for quality-Identify and eliminate the 8 wastes: waiting, overproduction, rework, motion, processing, inventory, intellect & transportation. Submitted to engineering ideas to cut waste of motion at two stations-Follow best manufacturing practices -Practice 5S: sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain-Completed and received certificates of completion in Terumo BCT courses: Business Continuity, Business Continuity in Practice, and Business Continuity Resources-3 process improvements were accepted and implemented: additional production associate on one build, adding an additional trash can in two accessory stations, and suggestions on how to keep glasses from fogging up when wearing a safety mask.
