About Mike Eickhoff
For almost 20 years, I have worked with clients with the identification, negotiation and implementation of state and local tax credits and incentives. I have had the unique opportunity to work in government (as an economic development official), industry (as the national leader of Sears\' Credit and Incentive Team) and as a consultant. I have assisted my clients secure approximately over $1 billion credits and incentives over the course of my career and have worked in over 20 states. My clients include Fortune 500 and middle market companies. Although I specialize in manufacturing, energy, and life sciences, I have represented clients in all industry groups. My industry and government experience are unique skill sets in this industry. Some of my other specialties include: state tax credits and incentives, local incentives, and new markets tax credits. In addition to my client work, I have advised state and local governments on economic development policy and have assisted in the development of specialized legislation and new tax incentive programs.
