About Mike Clements
Mike is a top-producing sales executive and serial entrepreneur with 27+ years of experience helping organizations transform and grow in the subscription economy. He specializes in creating, monetizing, and scaling new revenue streams while driving enterprise value and market leadership. He’s worked with companies from startup to Fortune 500, playing pivotal roles in high-impact growth stories. As a founding member of Confluence, he helped secure long-term deals with 12 of the world’s 20 largest financial institutions, grew market share to over 70%, and positioned the company as the global leader in back-office automation—culminating in the largest high-tech private equity deal in Pittsburgh’s history. At Oracle, Mike joined during the multi-billion-dollar acquisition of RightNow Technologies—the foundation of Oracle Service Cloud—and helped accelerate its emergence as one of Oracle’s fastest-growing SaaS segments. He closed some of the largest enterprise cloud deals in the CX space and contributed to Oracle’s broader SaaS transformation.Mike then joined ServiceNow during a key inflection point, as its IT automation platform expanded into other core business areas. As part of the first Customer Service Management (CSM) GTM team, he helped launch a now-core product line that fueled cross-functional expansion and contributed to the company’s meteoric rise—growing its market cap more than 8x.At HashiCorp, Mike was part of the core enterprise sales team during its rapid expansion phase, contributing to triple-digit growth, broader enterprise adoption, and go-to-market execution that supported a successful IPO and acquisition by IBM.Now at Chainguard, Mike is helping expand the company’s Northeast presence—partnering with security, platform, and engineering leaders across Fortune 500s, regulated industries, and fast-growing companies. His focus: helping teams eliminate CVEs, accelerate development, meet compliance frameworks like FedRAMP and FIPS, and unlock new revenue streams through secure-by-default, hardened OSS.Outside of tech, Mike played a key role in revitalizing Downtown Pittsburgh. He led the first major redevelopment in the historic Fifth–Forbes Corridor, converting vacant space into lofts and a French café—an early catalyst for PNC Bank’s decision to relocate its headquarters nearby. He later led projects that reimagined dormant corridors, adding new offices, a Greek bakery, and community spaces, co-founded the Pittsburgh Downtown CDC, and launched Tailgate for the Cure, a nonprofit that has raised tens of thousands for cancer research.
