Executive Director of the U.S-China Commission (USCC), a Commission created by Congress to provide advice, analysis, and recommendations on the economic and national security implications of the relationship between the United States and China. Press: Pro-active press strategy around Commission work products; active social media programming. Administration: staff HR, training, ethics, office policies, hiring/firing, staffing roles and needs, outside counsel, other outside contractors, IT needs, etc. Successfully re-launched intern program, updated website, oversaw IT migration, developed AI policy, etc.Budget: Manage annual budget process.
