    Technical Product lead for the electrical subsystems in Slate Auto HV battery pack. Decomposed high-level customer requirements into HV battery pack (HVBP), subsystem and component technical specifications. Responsible for selection or design of many of the electrical components in the HVBP including contactors, fuses, HV connectors, wire harnesses, and busbars. Collaborate with customer on the selection of battery cells and modules from a 3rd party supplier. Developed models and analysis to define the optimal standard range and extended range battery pack configurations based on performance, cost, mass and customer expectations. Partnered with customer, mechanical design team and external consultants on battery packs designs to eliminate and maintain Thermal Propagation events. Performed basic thermal analysis using excel models as well as supported more detailed thermal CAE analysis of battery back cooling plate, busbar, contactors and connectors. Worked with BMS Software to define feature and high-level software performance requirements. Supported DFM/DFA studies with the manufacturing team. Responsible for defining the electrical test plans for the end of line and product validation testing. based on meeting requirements for multiple standards organizations such as SAE, UN, UL, and ISO.
